I know. I was already starting to imagine it.

[ Which definitely counts as complicated because there's Peter, and there's his... well... feelings and whatever else that's there. He kind of gave himself away by letting what would've been just a playful conversation slip into something more serious. ]

I don't suppose we could just start over and pretend this serious part didn't happen?

I don't know, might be a little difficult to just rewind back to just before things got a little more serious.

[ And if he's blaming himself for it, she's equal parts blaming herself for it as well. But, she's trying for teasing a bit just to help ease the moment. ]

We can change the subject to something less serious, if that helps.
